To recognize World Cancer Day, FORMA employees wrote messages of inspiration in a journal that will be given to the children of the Jimmy Fund/Dana Farber Boston Children's Hospital Pediatric Blood Disorders and Cancer Center for patients to keep and read. We also wore lavender ribbons (which represent all cancer) to show that we are all in this fight together, and hope that one day, on February 4th, we can all wear ribbons in celebration of a cure.
It's a new year and a new FORMA! The team came together to focus on our 2020 corporate goals, as well as refresh our vision and values. There was plenty of energy in the room, partly due to these new mugs (which hold a LOT of coffee).
FORMA compounds continue to advance in our own pipeline and also in licensees' pipelines. Check out today's press release about progress that FORMA-grown molecules are making in the pipelines of Boehringer-Ingelheim and Celgene, now Bristol-Myers Squibb.

Our LDO team had a blast playing laser tag! You didn't know the "L" in "LDO" stands for "Laser" did you? (Disclaimer: it doesn't. It stands for "Lead". As in "Lead Discovery and Optimization". But on occasion, it stands for "Laser".)
Promising Phase 1b/2 results from our olutasidenib program were announced today at #SNO2019. The data indicate the drug has blood-brain barrier penetration, and a number of patients with IDH1-mutated glioma have achieved stable disease at 4 months. We are hopeful that olutasidenib can transform the lives of patients in need. http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vMLAw
We look forward to attending the 2019 Society for NeuroOncology (SNO) Annual Meeting in Phoenix, AZ. On Fridays everyone takes a turn providing breakfast! This morning at FORMA we had chicken and waffles, grits and gravy, eggs and bacon, and plenty of fruit. Comfort food on a cold day courtesy of our CEO who decided to share some of his favorites with the team! #formafuture #formafuturewithforma #fridaybreakfast #chickenandwaffles #comfortfood #formatherapeutics #formaculture
