We are excited to kick off a new year of The Friedkin Group Community Challenge! By collaborating with our incredible Community Impact Partners, we aim to make a meaningful impact on our Houston community and give beyond the ordinary through the time and dedication of our associates.
The Friedkin Group is proud to have contributed to the success of United Way of Greater Houston's MLK Day of Service Book Drive. With hundreds of books donated by TFG associates, local Houston students of all backgrounds will be able see themselves in the stories that they read.
Our associates are helping to ensure that every child wakes up to presents under the tree this year. As part of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston's Santa Project, teams across The Friedkin Group are sponsoring more than 100 families by providing toys, clothes and household essentials this holiday season. We are honored to count the Boys & Girls Clubs among our community impact partners and support their incredible efforts to give #BeyondTheOrdinary.
With a helping hand from TFG associates, over 6,300 meals are heading to families in need around Houston. A team from #TheFriedkinGroup spent the day volunteering with our community partners at the Houston Food Bank, who work to fight food insecurity across Southeast Texas.
We had a great time kicking off the annual Friedkin Community Challenge with our FCC Community Partners BBQ. Associates enjoyed live music and lunch while learning more about our partner organizations and the incredible ways that they go beyond the ordinary to impact lives in the areas that we call home.
We are thrilled to help our community partners at United Way of Greater Houston celebrate #ReadAcrossAmericaDay by delivering hundreds of books to elementary school students in Houston. As part of United Way’s MLK Day of Service Book Drive, The Friedkin Group associates contributed more than 550 books written and illustrated by people of color, helping students of all backgrounds see themselves in the stories that they read.

At The Friedkin Group, conservation is a hands-on effort. This weekend, associates and their families attended the Prairie Plant-a-Thon at Texas Parks and Wildlife Department’s Sheldon Lake State Park. This annual initiative helps restore and preserve the unique coastal prairie ecosystem by replanting native grasses.
When natural disasters strike the Gulf Coast, Texans and Louisianans stick together. In support of the #HurricaneIda Relief Drive from our community partners at the Houston Astros Foundation, TFG associates donated hundreds of pounds of needed supplies for our neighbors to the east. Our thoughts go out to everyone suffering in the wake of this devastating storm.
