Yesterday, President Biden signed the S.475 - Juneteenth National Independence Day Act into law, establishing Juneteenth as a federal holiday. We see this symbolic move as a call to action for us to continue our efforts to bring our Black communities' experiences from margin to center. This #Juneteenth, we would like to honor, commemorate, and celebrate the emancipation of enslaved Africans in the United States. Groundspeed recognizes the legacy of resilience embodied by this crucial piece of history. We stand with our Black communities, encouraging folks to support Black-owned businesses while reflecting on the nation’s history and our capacity to impact its future. Groundspeed remains committed to fighting racism in all its forms, a stance you can read more about in our statement released during Black History Month earlier this year: https://lnkd.in/gdivvn7 "Struggle is a never-ending process. Freedom is never really won, you earn it and win it in every generation." -- Coretta Scott King

Additionally, we have invited an LGBTQ+ educator to discuss the importance of allyship, inclusivity, and pronouns in the workplace as part of our ongoing journey to create a culture that values engagement and belonging.
