☀️ 22 for 2022: Welcoming Our Summer Interns ☀️ What an impressive group of 22 interns joining JMA Wireless this summer – we hosted the students at our Syracuse-area headquarters, including our new 5G campus and factory, to formally kick off their internships. They will directly contribute to all aspects of our business from engineering, finance, information technology, human resources, production, sales, and more. May is Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month and to celebrate diversity at JMA Wireless, we invite our colleagues to honor and share their heritage. Sales Director Susan Kea says Cambodian New Year is her favorite cultural tradition, a three-day celebration of the harvest with a visit to the temple to enjoy musicians, food, and art. She recommends a trip to Angkor Wat in Siem Reap to learn more about Cambodian culture and heritage: “Angkor Wat is the symbol on our flag and the largest religious temple to date. The area was built with irrigation systems and construction techniques far advanced and modern for its time. Each wall of every building features artwork that tells a story, whether folklore or everyday life. The temple itself is symbolic of Mount Meru, and you see nature overtaking the temple ruins that are riddled with bullet holes – a juxtaposition of the beauty and yet tragic history of war and genocide. Angkor Wat meaningfully provides so much understanding of the culture, values, and history of Cambodia in one place.”
HONORING EARTH DAY: JMA Wireless is proud to be one of the 15+ businesses and community groups cleaning up five miles of city sidewalks on Syracuse’s Southside in honor of Earth Day.
