LVC Companies received top honors in the PSA Security Network and Security Systems News’ (SSN) inaugural Integrator of the Year and Bill Bozeman Awards competition. Announced at PSA Tech in Denver, the awards are designed to identify the nation’s top security and audio-visual system integrators. “At PSA we have the privilege of working with the best integrators in the business,” said PSA CEO Matt Barnette. “I’m continuously impressed with the quality of our members’ and owners’ organizations. These awards honor the exact type of integrator we have now and hope to continue to attract.” The awards are named after industry icon Bill Bozeman. “Naming the awards after Bozeman was a natural choice,” said SSN editor Paul Ragusa. “In addition to giving more than 40 years to the industry with his security systems integration business, Bill led PSA as CEO for more than 20 years, helping the global consortium to grow and succeed, while also moving the industry forward through his leadership and dedication.”

Since 1994, Notifier has routinely recognized LVC with honors including the Million Dollar, President’s Circle and Diamond Distributor awards. “Congratulations to LVC for making it again to million-dollar Notifier distributor status!” said Notifier Regional Sales Manager John Muhle, who presented LVC with the award. “LVC’s stellar reputation and relationships with partners in the electrical contractor, architecture and engineering communities have made LVC the ‘go-to’ resource for even the most complex fire alarm applications. “I have no doubt that LVC’s dedication to technology, innovation and customer service will continue to make them a leader in the life safety market,” he continued. “As an early adopter of the latest Notifier systems, LVC forged a new path to the future of fire alarm and fire alarm communications, which will undoubtedly lead to continued success in years to come.”
LVC Companies once again earns the Minnesota Safety Council’s prestigious Governor’s Safety Award for its commitment to workplace safety and health. Since 1934, the annual Governor’s Safety Awards program has honored Minnesota employers with exceptional safety performance. Applicants are judged on several years of injury data as it compares with their industry’s national statistics, and on their progress in implementing a comprehensive safety program. Of 191 total award winners for 2022, LVC was one of 68 employers recognized for Meritorious Achievement. Attaining this level of recognition required having incidence rates better than the industry average for at least three years, and earning high marks on a stringent 100-point safety program evaluation scale. This marks the 12th time since 2007 that LVC has received a Governor’s Safety Award.
LVC Companies was proud to provide video surveillance and access control security solutions in the renovation of the historic Butler Square building in downtown Minneapolis. The iconic nine-story, brick-and-timber structure at 100 N. Sixth St. has been a fixture of the city’s Warehouse District for more than a century. Built in 1906, it long served as a warehouse. But it also helped spark the Warehouse District’s revitalization in 1974, when the east half of the building was renovated with a pioneering mix of offices, shops and restaurants set around a dramatic atrium. The recently completed renovation project will help Butler Square continue to be a pillar of downtown for years to come. “LVC’s video surveillance and access control solutions will allow the building’s operations team and security personnel to better secure the building, prevent incidents from occurring, and provide historical information on who accessed the building, when and where,” said McGough Senior Property Manager Angela Samargia.
