Over the past year, Lakeside Foods has supported community food pantries and regional feeding programs with more than 300,000 pounds of in-kind food donations. In volume, that equates to more than seven semi-truck loads of canned and frozen vegetables and meats.
We updated our logo to a more modern style to celebrate our rich heritage as a 130+ year-old company while reflecting our recent growth and innovation. The new logo, dubbed the Lakeside Foods family seal, includes an image evoking the sun, lake and fields; a bold, strong font; dark navy color representing our company values of stability and trust; and an inset “EST 1887” illustrating our roots as a pea packing company in Manitowoc in 1887.
Our seasonal employees have begun our summer vegetable harvest and production, and each one goes through COVID-19 training and given additional personal protective equipment to help prevent spread of COVID-19. Our goal is to keep our full-time and seasonal employees safe and healthy while producing our canned and frozen vegetables to keep grocery shelves stocked and families fed.
Our company's growth story was recently featured in the Green Bay Press-Gazette . We're honored to provide families delicious food for their meals all year long!
