Two years ago, I stumbled upon Maxon’s products and was immediately drawn to their capabilities, particularly Cinema 4D, and I wanted to work at Maxon. Fast forward two years and here I am working for Maxon Computer KK in Japan as a Senior sales Account manager for the Asia-Pacific region. It's a double dream come true, really, because my husband and I have had long-standing plans to relocate to Japan. Creativity has always been my passion, and with a background in sales and marketing, I am able to work directly with the creative team at Maxon, which is a bonus. Before joining Maxon, I worked for HP where I gained significant experience in a variety of business and channel management roles across Asia Pacific and Japan. The decision to move to Japan was daunting initially. I wrestled with the idea of leaving my family in Singapore but was excited about the fresh start in Japan. I'm grateful to Maxon for having patience as I deliberated over this life-changing decision. Now, I’m thrilled to be in Tokyo surrounded by an incredible team at Maxon KK. The supportive culture, fostered by exceptional leadership, is truly inspiring and every moment in Japan is precious to me. I’m learning about my colleagues, Japanese culture and language, and I’m discovering beautiful flowers amidst the weeds — there’s more than just Sakura (cherry blossoms).
