Since I was 18, I’ve lived abroad—starting with an American university in Bulgaria, then moving to Germany for my Master’s at RWTH Aachen. Today, I live and work in Cologne, where I’ve found both professional growth and a real sense of community.

I was born in the beautiful city of Gdańsk (Danzig) in Poland, but I grew up in the area around Cologne, where I spent most of my time, except for my degree, which I completed in Dortmund. Besides computer stuff, sport is my passion: I’m a footballer, runner, and I’m also the crazy guy who does 150 km trips with his road bike almost every weekend.

Employee Story: Meet Mahoor and how he started his engineering journey at MobiLab. My name is Mahoor. I was born in a small city in the north of Iran, moved to the capital (Tehran) to study mathematics and computer science when I was 18, continued my studies in Paris at Sorbonne, and left academia about three years ago to start a professional career here in Germany. At MobiLab I work as a Fullstack Engineer. Initially, I was only focused on backend engineering, but gradually it was expanded to DevOps engineering, cloud infrastructure and designing and developing cloud-native applications and platforms.
