Big news—Mud Bay delivery just got even better! We’re now offering same-day delivery, 7 days a week, when you order before 2 PM. If you order after 2 PM, no worries—your pet’s favorites will arrive the next day. Plus, delivery is free on all orders over $30. Our teams have been working hard to expand our delivery areas and reduce the time from order to arrival. In addition, we have our Customer Care team; these Mud Bay experts can assist with any questions about an order or make product recommendations. We are proud to report that in 2024, Mud Bay provided over $1,650,000 in food, funding, and resources to our local PNW animal welfare partners through our philanthropic programs—making a real difference for pets in need. Thank you to all of our customers, Muddies, and manufacturer partners for joining us to help ensure the over 70,000 PNW animals up for adoption have the resources they need.
We’re thrilled to announce Mud Bay’s company-wide Mudstock celebration is returning this July! Every Mudstock we close our stores and bring Muddies from near and far to celebrate Mud Bay’s culture, connect with colleagues throughout the state, and learn from hundreds of our amazing manufacturing partners. Our Muddies gain a deeper insight into the products we carry and learn new ways we can support the needs of pet owners in the Pacific NW. Mud Bay has been bringing Muddies together for this celebration since our 25th Anniversary in 2013, and we are so excited to continue this tradition.

The holiday season is here, and with it comes the spirit of giving. Tons of Love is a collaborative effort between Mud Bay, longtime pet food manufacturing partners, and our customers. Whenever shoppers purchase food for their own pet either online or at one of our stores, these brand partners will make a corresponding donation to Tons of Love, which this year has an ambitious goal of getting over 15 tons of high-quality, nutritious pet food into shelters to help feed pets. Also, each of Mud Bay’s 64 locations in Washington and Oregon have Giving Trees available from now until December 31st. Each Giving Tree contains an organization’s donation tags that shoppers can select and donate a specific item from the wishlist of one of the animals in their care. These donations go directly to the partnered organization in the community. When you shop at any our stores between now and December 31st, you have the opportunity to join us in helping make the holiday season better for shelter pets all across the PNW.
Welcome! Over the past several months, we had a pretty busy Holiday season. We hope you all had fun, made memories, and ate a lot of delicious food. From the duration of September to December each year, Mud Bay holds a Giving Tree. This past Holiday season, we were able to raise $183,791.58 for homeless pets! This is something Mud Bay is proud to be part of, as our main mission is to contribute to the health of pets and the happiness of those who care for them. We look forward to seeing each of you in our stores and helping find your pets' individualized solutions, whether that be a transition from kibble to raw, or just finding that perfect toy!
Happy August, everyone! Here are a few things Mud Bay has accomplished this past half of the year: March '23 - Mud Bay won the Retail Excellence Award in the "31+ stores" category at the 11th Annual Global Pet Expo. The Retailer Excellence Awards program was created to celebrate pet specialty retailers of all shapes and sizes for the important work they do in helping pet owners provide the very best care for their animal companions. May '23 - Mud Bay participated in the Oregon Humane Society's Doggie Dash to raise funds for homeless pets! We had the pleasure of providing the Mud Bay Experience (or MBX) to everyone at the event, both new and regular customers. June '23 - Mud Bay held our 9th Mudstock event, which was also the 35th Anniversary of Mud Bay! Mudstock is a great opportunity for all of our Muddies to get together with each other for a day of fun, education, and connection. With over 100 vendors and 700+ Muddies, Mudstock is something we all look forward to each year. Our stores close for the day, and we come together to learn more about the companies we partner with and their products so we can better find solutions for the amazing pet parents who visit us each day. Thank you all for being the best part of Mud Bay, and we hope to see you in our stores soon!
