Our thanks to AtlantiCare, Camden Community Partnership, and Holly City Development Corporation for the amazing work they are doing to help our neighbors. These three incredible organizations were announced as recipients of awards from the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs 2022 Neighborhood Revitalization Tax Credit Program. OceanFirst Bank is proud to contribute $1 million to this year’s Program which was used to fund, in part, the grants for these three organizations. The organizations have plans for projects in the Midtown neighborhood of Atlantic City, the Cramer Hill neighborhood of Camden, and the Center City neighborhood of Millville. Congratulations to all 19 nonprofit organizations that are receiving over $14 million from the Program to rejuvenate the neighborhoods they serve! We are grateful for all you do for our communities. It was my honor to host Ira Robbins, CEO of Valley Bank, at OceanFirst Bank Administrative Headquarters to share our experiences with the OceanFirst and Valley interns. It was so exciting to have dozens of interns participate, on-site and virtually, to talk about the career opportunities that are available in banking. I enjoyed talking about banking, the economy, and more with the interns —Ira and I were able to reflect on our careers and the extraordinary contributions that community bankers are able to make to help growing families and businesses in our neighborhoods. Thanks to all the interns for participating and for the great questions. I can’t wait to see what you all do during your internships… and beyond! #ocfc #oceanfirst #valleybank #communitybankers #njbankers #interns #futureofbanking
