The Stevie Awards honor the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and working professionals worldwide, in a wide variety of categories and every facet of the workplace. The awards are open to all organizations operating in the U.S.A. The Stevie judges, who represent some world's most respected executives, entrepreneurs, innovators, and business educators, presented PLZ Corp with a Bronze Award, recognizing advances of our ESG pillars – People Development, Product Focus, Sustainable Operations, and Business Values/Principles. Congratulations and a heartfelt thank you to everyone involved in PLZ’s ESG mission! UPDATE: We’ve just released the newest ESG report, highlighting our company performance in 2022. Members of PLZ's Summer Intern program took part in orientation last week, some in person in Downers Grove and some virtually from PLZ locations across North America! Our PLZ Marketing Manager -and a former intern herself- gave them the inside scoop on their summer experience. The group also learned about the company and its history, met with key members of staff, and shared lunch with the PLZ Executive Team.
Team members stepped up, and out, to take part in the annual Earth Day clean-up effort.
Team members at the Corporate offices in Downers Grove, IL took part in CPR/First Aid training as part of the PLZ commitment to workplace safety. According to the American Heart Association, 350,000 people die from cardiac arrest in the United States every year. Immediate CPR can double or triple chances of survival after cardiac arrest.
Folks at Fall River donated two AEDs and two first aid kits to the Fall River Fire Department, for use in training. It always feels good to give back to the community!
