The month of June was chosen for National Pride Month to commemorate the Stonewall Riots, a pivotal moment in the Gay Rights movement that occurred on June 28, 1969. It’s a month where we honor the achievements of the LGBTQ+ community and the space to celebrate individuals chosen identities, with warm acceptance from their friends, family, colleagues, and peers. This June, in collaboration with our 3rd annual Pride-partners WatchGuard Technologies, we put together a series of events to foster celebration, thoughtful discussion, and inclusion—all virtually.
It's only when individuals accept & respect these differences in human identity and experience, that we can begin to open our hearts and minds to greater understanding and growth, collectively.
