Data is the new gold; insights stored in it are the biggest value driver and a massive competitive advantage for any organization. Much like gold, however, data should be properly mined, processed, and managed — with a Data Platform. Join Daria Koryukova, Data Engineer at Provectus, for a talk about building a centralized, scalable Data Platform for one of the largest food and beverage corporations in the world. In the webinar Data Platforms Without Monoliths, you will learn and explore the data culture journey of a data engineering team. The webinar starts March 26, 01:00 (UTC). Explore Feature Store with Provectus Senior Solutions Architect German Osin. Learn why feature stores are a fundamental component of the #ML stack, any data infrastructure for #AI. 💬 "With so many organizations now taking the leap into building production-level machine learning models, many lessons learned are coming to light about the supporting infrastructure. For a variety of important types of use cases, maintaining a centralized feature store is essential for higher ROI and faster delivery to market. In this review, the current feature store landscape is described, and you can learn how to architect one into your MLOps pipeline". ⚡Get the insights following the link below.

#ProvectusTeam is in love with open source. We are enthusiastic about sharing our experience and expertise with the tech community, and about using great open source products too. ⠀ We've already mentioned Swiss Army Kube, an open-source IaC (Infrastructure as Code) collection of services for quick, easy, and controllable deployment of EKS Kubernetes clusters on Amazon for your projects. But there's a handful of other repositories stored at Provectus GitHub. ❄️Kafka UI. A user-friendly solution that we have shared for free, to help developers save a substantial amount of money when running their Apache Kafka clusters. ⠀ 💧Hydrosphere.io. The team of the project is preparing for a huge release — cool features that have been developed for two years are now ready to see the world. Most of those are to simplify and enhance data monitoring. ⠀ Open Data Discovery. Our latest product that we'd like to announce before it goes open-source. It's a data catalog for Big Data companies. Our mission is to make it a standard for the entire Data community. Find out even more at our GitHub!

A dose of Friday fun from #ProvectusTeam. We found the motivation to work without incidents! It's our no-incident day counter implemented as a pet-project. What to consider an incident? It can be anything from a cup of coffee spilled on the keyboard to a failed sprint. There is no clear definition of the incident, and each time we decide by voting whether to consider the case as such or the counter shouldn't be reset. “Going deeper into the rabbit hole to a low level of programming turned out to be quite an interesting topic,” says one of the developers of the internal project Leonid Blokhin, Software Engineer at Provectus. “In the version we implemented, each segment of the indicator is controlled by a separate microcontroller leg. But there is room for further experimenting. The teammates offer to implement some crazy ideas like programming bacteria with phosphorus so that they glow in the form of numbers or pumping the counter in the steampunk style". As you can see, there is no limit to developers' imagination. Check out the project's GitHub!
