SEA CORP - Systems Engineering Associates Corporation officially opens New Production space. SEA CORP President Dave Lussier and Senior Vice President Craig McMillian connected with employees at a special ribbon cutting ceremony to formally open the company’s new production area at the SEA CORP Research Center (SRC) in Middletown. For many employees in attendance, it was their first time seeing the completed space, which is already being utilized by several projects for small-scale manufacturing. This newly constructed 4000 sq. ft state-of-the-art production area will allow the company to expand its focus on manufacturing a wide variety of high mix, low volume products for government and OEM customers alike. This exciting new venture marks an important milestone in SEA CORP’s 38-year history, and we believe it’s indicative of the growth that is yet to come!
SEA CORP is excited to announce that we are nearing completion on construction of the new 4,000 sq. ft. Production Facility within our existing SEA Research Center (SRC) building in Middletown, RI. Operational by September 2019, the new space is being built as a 2nd floor mezzanine in the existing high bay warehouse and will immediately accommodate at least three new production lines. The expansion will be dedicated manufacturing space for several ongoing projects as they transition from prototype development to formal production. This construction project is the latest major infrastructure improvement made by SEA CORP to attract new opportunities and continue its corporate growth.
On Tuesday April 16, 2019, SEA CORP was honored to sign a Statement of Support with the Employer Support of the Guard & Reserve (ESGR). The Statement of Support recognizes that SEA CORP “appreciates the values, leadership and unique skills Service members bring to the workforce and will encourage opportunities to employ Guardsmen, Reservists, transitioning Service members and Veterans.” Philip Albert, Area Vice Chairman from RI ESGR chapter visited our Middletown, RI headquarters for the signing ceremony and to present the plaque to President, Dave Lussier, Chief Information Officer Kevin Borges and HR Manager John Laurent. Also present for the ceremony was a member of SEA CORP’s Information Technology Department, Dujon Leslie, who is an Army veteran and active reservist with the Rhode Island National Guard. We would like to thank and recognize all of SEA CORP’s Veteran and Active Reservist employees who have and continue to serve our country in peace, in crisis and in war. We are grateful for their service and equally proud to welcome them back home safely to their workplace here
