Will Burr Voted to South Carolina Board ------------------------------------------------------------------- We’re pleased to share Will Burr, SRI Management Vice President of Operations, has been elected by his peers to serve a two-year term as Director at Large with the South Carolina Assisted Living Association (SCALA). This is a meaningful recognition of Will's leadership, experience, and commitment to strengthening the senior living profession across South Carolina. In this role, he will help support and advocate for assisted living communities, residential care facilities, home care, home health, and hospice organizations throughout the state. “Will is a steady, thoughtful leader who always puts people first. His election to the SCALA board is a reflection of the respect he’s earned across our industry," SRI Management CEO Don W. Bishop said. "We’re proud to have him representing SRI Management at the state level.” SCALA represents more than 150 communities and providers, serving nearly 10,000 individuals statewide, and plays an important part in shaping the future of quality senior care.
Big Bend Clinic Has Ties With CFO Seth Walker ------------------------------------------------------------------- Seth lost his mother to cancer, but her legacy lives on. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Pink ribbons pop up in October with the color being a reminder that it’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month. And that color – since the early 2000s – has had more meaning for SRI Management’s CFO Seth Walker and his family. Seth’s mother, Sharon, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1996 when she was just 33; she passed away in 2005 at the age of 42. At that time in Tallahassee, there was no digital mammogram machine. Women would have to travel to larger cities such as Jacksonville or Tampa for a digital mammogram. “Mom was a big believer that early detection of breast cancer is what allowed her to beat cancer the first time,” Seth said. “This was difficult in the 1990s because the Tallahassee area did not have the cutting-edge equipment needed for early detection.” Read Full Story at https://srimgt.com/big-bend-clinic-has-ties-with-cfo/
