Saildrone is excited to welcome Halley Beecroft as VP People! Halley brings to Saildrone a strong operational background and a thoughtful, people-centered approach to leadership. A chemical engineer by trade, she has spent her career building structured, effective systems that enable teams to work safely, clearly, and collaboratively. Her transition into People leadership was driven by a belief that HR succeeds when it understands the business strategy and uses that insight to support teams and drive results. At Saildrone, Halley will oversee all aspects of our People function as the company continues to grow. She will focus on strengthening our recruiting and onboarding processes, supporting leadership development, and developing programs that contribute to a consistent and healthy employee experience. “I’m excited to join Saildrone at a moment of real momentum. The mission is meaningful, the work is technically challenging, and the people here care deeply about what they do. I look forward to helping build the structures and support systems that enable teams to do their best work, and I hope to make a meaningful impact on how we work, how we lead, and how we thrive together.” We’re thrilled to have Halley on board as we continue to scale our team and accelerate Saildrone’s next chapter. 🚀

Saildrone is pleased to announce the closing of a $60 million investment round led by EIFO, the Export and Investment Fund of Denmark. The investment will be used to bring Saildrone technology to Europe to address the urgent need for maritime security for critical infrastructure and wider defense applications. “I am thrilled to partner with EIFO and the Danish government to establish Saildrone’s European headquarters in Copenhagen. Denmark’s unique geographic and political position at the heart of northern Europe makes it the perfect place to establish our European headquarters and operational hub. Working initially with the Danish Armed Forces, we plan to roll out Saildrone’s maritime intelligence services to multiple NATO countries during the course of the year. Our goal is to provide 24/7, year-round coverage for all critical infrastructure within the Baltic and North Sea, safeguarding these highly valuable installations for current and future generations,” said Richard Jenkins, Saildrone founder and CEO.
