On Saturday, we had the privilege of hosting the She Built This City Greensboro Cohort at the Bluford St. Residence Hall project. The group engaged in an in-depth project overview and site tour, where we explored the unique challenges and complex logistics involved in a project of this scale. It was incredible to see the interest and questions from the group—it’s a reminder of the power of hands-on exposure in sparking curiosity and building pathways in the construction industry. For those unfamiliar, She Built This City is a non-profit that recently expanded to Greensboro! Their mission is to open doors in the skilled trades for youth, women, and marginalized communities. From adult workforce development to community programs and projects, they're bringing meaningful opportunities and impactful programming designed to break down barriers and reshape what we see as possible in our industry. Thank you to the team at She Built This City for their continued efforts to drive change, and to everyone who made Saturday a memorable and inspiring day!
