Neil Collier named Total Vision's Chief Executive Officer. Neil, along with his senior leadership team, is responsible for the impressive growth; from a handful of practices to one of the largest private optometry operators in California – with over 50 locations (and growing). Neil has over three decades of operations experience at large-scale, multi-site healthcare businesses. He has successfully driven business growth and has led high-performing field operations and professional service teams, most recently as the Chief Operating Officer of Center for Vein Restoration, a multi-site practice management business based in Virginia. Neil has two adult children and has been married for over 30 years. In his free time, he enjoys golf and snowboarding.
Total Vision has expanded into Northern California! Los Gatos Vision Care is our first practice in the Bay Area. Dr. Jim Pietrantonio and team have been serving the Los Gatos community for nearly 20 years! We are excited to welcome them to our growing family!
Total Vision has recently welcomed Doug Cannon as our new Chief Financial Officer. Doug comes to Total Vision with extensive experience as a Chief Financial Officer of numerous multi-site, multi-state healthcare companies including the Southeastern Spine Institute, US Dermatology Partners, Guardian Healthcare, and others. We look forward to capitalizing on these strengths as we continue to build out the financial support that Total Vision provides to its practices. Doug has two daughters, ages 22 and 23, and his favorite pastimes include hiking, biking, and reading. Welcome to the Total Vision family, Doug!
Total Vision practices had a successful "Framesgiving" event in the month of November. For every frame purchased, Total Vision donated a frame to the Lions Vision Clinic to help someone in need this holiday season. We were able donate 484 frames in total! We are so impressed with our team and patients!
Total Vision Team Members volunteered at the OneSight Vision Care clinic in San Diego this past week. Over the course of the 5 day event, over 1,500 children from the surrounding school districts are provided free eye exams and glasses. Our Optical Manager, Becky Scott, has been volunteering in the lab every year since 2013! Pictured below is Becky, Dr. Beverly Bianes and Dr. Carlton Chan at the clinic.
Total Vision hosted our first annual Total Vision Expo on October 2, 2019 in La Jolla, CA. This was a special event for our Practice Leaders, Opticians and Doctors to learn more from our partners and vendors about the latest trends and technology in Optometry. We had so much fun bringing everyone together!
