VPP Partner Hospital, Dwight Veterinary Clinic, recently donated three pet oxygen masks specifically made to fit the muzzles and snouts of cats and dogs to the Dwight Fire Department 💓 These life-saving masks are intended for use on pets at the scene of a fire or other emergencies where firefighters are dispatched. We're so proud and thankful for our incredible #VPPCommunity for preserving the human-animal bond every day!

VPP is proud to offer a robust DVM Student Externship/Preceptorship Program dedicated to helping veterinary students feel practice-ready and hit the ground running after graduation 🩺🐾 This month, we're spotlighting Taylor Demers, who was a VPP Extern Ambassador at the University of Tennessee for over a year. "I was a VPP student ambassador at the University of Tennessee and it has been one of the best experiences of vet school. I have met great people through VPP and it has really changed my perspective on what corporate vet practices can look like. I love how each clinic is unique, yet still encourages a family atmosphere so that everyone, from veterinarians to technicians to receptionists, can enjoy coming to work. After how much I enjoyed being an ambassador I cannot wait to do an externship at one of the VPP hospitals during my clinical year!" VPP's externship rotations are designed to allow students, under veterinary supervision, to practice the problem-solving, technical and communication skills that they have acquired during their clinical preparation.
