Happy New Week! ✨ We are very pleased to be spotlighting Marie Paule Eliane GRODJI, Communication Officer in Côte d’Ivoire, who joined Wave in March of 2022. Here is what she has to say: “I was attracted by Wave’s resilience and disposition towards innovation, and I am delighted to see that everything I thought about Wave at first has remained the same. Wave has a flexible work environment that allows us to remember that we are human beings, we can make mistakes and fix them together, and we can take a break when needed to rest and enjoy our families. The Wave value that resonates with me the most is “maximizing our rate of learning.” I am lucky to be able to participate in an in-house English language training. It's a great opportunity by the company and is one of the many benefits of the company that enables us to be the best versions of ourselves in our job. At Wave, you learn something new and valuable every day, and teams work collaboratively. I am having a great experience and proud to be part of this beautiful community’’. Marie Paule, thank you for the incredible feedback and we are glad you are having a great experience at Wave. Wishing you the very best in your journey! 💙 #communicationjobs #flexiblework #teamwork #learningenglish #learninganddevelopment #employeebenefits #fintech #cotedivoire #wave

Helloooo Monday! We are very pleased to spotlight Chris Williamson, our General Manager of Payments, who is based out of the UK. Hear him: “I joined Wave in April 2023. Before joining, I knew Wave had a clear mission - to build financial infrastructure that works for everyone. I also knew this was underpinned by some inspiring values that resonated with me. A few months in, I'm starting to see how deeply the mission and values are embedded within Wave's culture and ways of working, regardless of where you're located in the organization. Even more than having the right strategy - Wave's amazing culture is the thing that has powered Wave's growth so far. My favorite Wave value is being "egolessly mission driven". Everyone is genuinely here to build products that empower our customers to live better lives - not to build empires or have our egos massaged in meetings. This is very different to some of the working environments I've experienced before! I'm more excited than ever to be part of Wave and to have met all our teams in person over these last couple of months." Chris, thank you for sharing your experience. We are excited to have you and look forward to your exciting journey on the Payments team. 💙 #remotejobs #financialinclusion #fintech #missiondriven #culture #user #payments #paymentsolutions #mobilemoney #uk #wave Activate to view larger image,
Helloooo Monday! We love when long-term employees speak about working at Wave with so much excitement, even after several years. 🤩 Today, we are spotlighting the incredible Aude Anicette KOKO, Learning and Development Officer in Côte d'Ivoire. Hear her story: “I joined Wave in September 2019 as a Growth team member. Once the roles were defined, I moved on to become a Territory Lead, and from a Territory Lead to Onboarding Officer, Corporate Admin, and now a Learning & Development Officer. The culture and values at Wave are everything to me. Being able to talk to senior leaders without unnecessary protocol is wonderful. As a woman, I am respected and put on the same level as male colleagues. The Wave value that resonates with me the most is “We are embarrassingly honest.” This value has a significant impact on my professional and personal life. My life is better today because I am true to myself and others. For all the young people who want to become the best version of themselves, find a company where you can learn, grow and be happy; that's what Wave gave me as a gift." Aude, we are so lucky to have you on the team and proud to witness your internal progression. Thank you for sharing your inspiring story. 💙 #dreamjob #teamspirit #growth #values #culturefit #inspiringleadership #cotedivoire #wave
