Colleagues at our Nantgarw depot have donated over a tonne of food to the Pontypridd Foodbank in South Wales. The Pontypridd Foodbank, located at the Riverside Day Centre, is part of The Trussell Trust, which has a wide network of foodbanks throughout the country and has been operating for over 25 years. With over 40 volunteers, they have supplied food for 3,187 adults and 1,330 children this year. The donation from Yodel will help the volunteers over the festive season. #Yodel #Community

This week, some of our colleagues helped to plant 1200 trees in partnership with Rewards.Earth and Green Task Force for military veterans. The trees will provide a source of therapy to veterans for years to come, and each tree planted will offset 0.7 tonne of CO2 through its lifetime. Mike Hancox, our CEO said: “Yodel is committed to supporting the veterans that work with us and by working with Rewards.Earth and Green Task Force we’re able to provide more for those veterans who are still recovering from their experiences.
