The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Deem (San Mateo, CA) in May 2011
Interview
Did an initial meeting with one person. Then an extended interview with 4 other people. To make a boring story short, Rearden does not know how to interview, they don't really know what the company does. They think they're IPO'ing so that's cause for unfounded arrogance.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
There was a useless programming question about recursive static fields in Java. That was laughable and pointless. For people who ask these, it's good to state upfront what the goal of the question is. Otherwise the questioner looks dumb, and the interviewee dumbfounded by the question's pointlessness.
After passing all rounds of interview, then i was told that there will be last call with manager, but recruiter didn't respond back outcome. Not professional at all. Overall questions in the interview was easy.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Deem (Bengaluru) in Aug 2016
Interview
It was a one day process. There were around 5 rounds. The questions were good and panels are knowledgeable, Finished the HR round on the same day. Waiting for the offer from more than 3 weeks. HR says it on hold.

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Deem (San Francisco, CA) in Aug 2015
Interview
2 phone interviews, 2 in person interviews in SF. Everyone was very nice and the process went at a good pace. Good technical questions. They gave me food and snacks with cool views of the bridge. I met with people from almost every level within the Engineering team: staff, VP, Principal software engineer. Questions were often tough and during interviews back to back it was tiring.
