Benefits could be better, no bonuses. While my specific team and people leader are great no one feels appreciated or valued by higher management.

❌ Bureaucratic challenges in large-scale government projects – Since many projects are state and federal contracts, decision-making can be slow due to multiple approvals and compliance requirements. ❌ Limited innovation due to strict client requirements – The projects often follow rigid guidelines, limiting the ability to experiment with new BI tools and architectures beyond the set frameworks. ❌ Salary could be more competitive – While the benefits and work culture are great, the compensation is average compared to other BI consulting firms.

Restructuring of organization leaves uncertainty of what growing changes will be down the line, a lot left to be desired as far as upward mobility and career mapping and pathways depending where in the US (or India) you reside, there is some concern regarding total compensation and salary bands as this is an ongoing “evaluation” during the restructure

Compensation is below current market standards.. A significant portion of the work is handled offshore, which has led to concerns about quality and consistency. Project timelines are often unclear or unrealistic, and the workload frequently requires extended hours throughout the week. The company also has a limited client base, relying heavily on one or two clients for several years, which has contributed to ongoing instability and frequent layoffs. Managers have indicated that there are limited opportunities for career growth due to the lack of new clients, and employees who express interest in advancing or exploring new opportunities are often met with an unprogressive mindset. While senior leadership continues to receive feedback, there has been little to no meaningful change at the operational level
