Pros
None none none none! Don’t do it don’t do it! Uber Lyft door dash Instawork a sales position all better. The pay is nottttttttt their and the extra money your hoping to make will be used for gas, new tires and new breaks. The only reason their real employees deal with this crap is because they get other benefits like laid schooling etc I hate it so much I stop Amazon drivers when I see them and see how they like their job they all hate! They say stuff like no I don’t like it but they’re paying for my school so I deal with it. I feel that and it can be a little more worth it when running their car to the ground and using their gas.
Cons
Everything they over work you the pay is Absolute beep beep beep you never get ahead you work basically to put gas in your car by the time you get some extra money your check engine light turns on you need new tires You need new brakes absolutely not worth it. They barely pay you gas time mileage you’re getting $15 an hour if that McDonald’s pays more it’s hard work Delivering to apartments is terrible delivering in downtown cities is terrible. You don’t have a choice of what hours you wanna work you don’t have a choice of what cities you want to drive to. They’ll send you an hour away from the station and you can already live an hour away from the station you’ll end up two hours away from home , they give you a three hour shift, but give you five hours worth of packages and then when you return the packages you couldn’t finish because they gave you 50 packages to deliver in three hours. They mark it against you and threaten you deactivation. They don’t stick to their end of the bargain. If someone is booking a two hour shift you get to the warehouse they give you a block 50 packages for two hours, and you can’t refuse it without penalty. you are 100% not an independent contractor. That’s just a word they use. You have no control over your shift. You’re fighting for shifts. You cannot plan your day or schedule your day because you never know if you’re gonna get a shift the next day if you’re gonna be able to work what time you’re gonna be able to book a shift because when you’re trying to get a shift you’ll take any shift even the ones you don’t want because that’s all they Have so really you can’t schedule your own life your basically on call with Amazon flex and I’m level 3 which means i’m supposed to get preferred scheduling that’s cap they mean preferred by Amazon
