Pros
- BetterUp hires some of the most incredibly talented people I’ve ever worked with. The environment encourages you to learn and grow and get better at your job and I love that - Amazing benefits. Unlimited PTO, all federal holidays, inner work days, 2 week long paid company holidays during July 4th and Christmas, learning stipend, health and wellness reimbursement, WeWork membership etc. It’s the first place I’ve worked where I don’t feel guilty for taking time off because the environment encourages it. - Some consider this a con but the work is challenging. It’s not a sit back and relax work from home job. I think this is a pro. You work with some of the best and the mission is big, and it’s still a start up. You have to want the challenge to be happy here.
Cons
- A lot of change and turmoil over the last year or so. Changing departments, lay offs, changing leadership due to company restructure and macroeconomic climate. - There’s a lot of work to be done, it seems this is true no matter what role you hold. You have to hold strict boundaries for your personal time and when to log off. - No 401k match
