What is the salary like at Brandeis University?

Great opportunities for research, offers opportunity for skills development with different workshops, guest lectures, and free (fully reimbursed for cost) class per semester with supervisors approval.

University leadership and bureaucracy have created challenges such as layoffs of staff, staff are not valued and treated as disposable, low pay compared to other universities and non-profits, speaking to other research staff they have not gotten raises in years (annual increase used to be cost of living adjustments, now they are merit increases and do not necessarily keep up with cost of living).

A great work environment, people take care of each other. The pay is good and I feel like the work load is reasonable.

I've heard that other departments aren't as well funded and aren't valued as much.
