      Pros

Any free food you get is nice

      Cons

Very poor management, team leader frequently disappears and is tardy when present. Understaffed all the time. Very cramped workspace, kitchen is probably comparable to a mcdonalds in terms of size but it will feel half as big. Poor communication between team members. Frequently overbooked. Combined with understaffing, the work becomes stressful more often than not. But a more important note here is that it results in food regularly being given to the customer with poor presentation or Luke warm. I could go on forever about how miserable working here was but I’ll save you the headache.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback following your experience with Café Rouge. We are sorry to read that your time with us did not meet the standards we aim to provide for our team members. Creating a supportive, well-organised and positive working environment is extremely important to us, and it is disappointing to hear that you experienced challenges with management support, staffing levels and communication. We are also concerned to hear your comments regarding food quality and presentation, as delivering a consistently high guest experience is a key priority. Your feedback will be shared with the relevant leadership teams so that any necessary improvements can be made.
