phenomenal patient outcomes, magnet status, multiple specialties at fingertips as well as around the clock and in house, around the clock availability of imaging, all teams honestly have a common goal to provide the best patient care possible. Recent improvement in paternity leave, and short term disability leave.

Over the years it feels upper management has undervalued those at the bedside, annual performance salary increase doesn't match rate of inflation, hourly pay doesn't compare to other facilities in area, Benefits altered most recently with provider PTO policy having no value attached, unable to bank, and use it or loose it annually.

They do not pay well and will lower your pay if you are benefits eligible verses non benefits eligible. Rather than increases pay overall, they lean on how it is “unfair” to pay someone new more than the folks who have been there longer…keeping in mind this role started at 14/hour.

The pay is good and so are the benefits. No problem there.

I've always had a good working environment until they started promoting nurses and former medical assistants to be in the management. There they become very snobby, entitled, and pick on the staff they see that others like better than themselves. It makes for very difficult work environment. I've moved to 3 different department to do this very issue before eventually quitting the company.

No weekends or holidays. Fairly significant peripheral support.
