What are perks and other benefits like at Flo Health?

The people are truly great: smart, supportive, and professional. The best colleagues I’ve ever had in my life. The working conditions, salary, and benefits are very good. Overall, it’s a great place to work, if you don’t take into account the cons I’ll describe below.

The company talks a lot about how much it values PEOPLE. But in reality, that’s not the case. Of course, just like in other corporations, the most important thing is money. A number of true professionals with excellent performance were fired in a single day because the company’s priorities suddenly changed. And this happened right after the team had been giving 200% of their time and effort to producing an enormous amount of content recently. It was extremely unfair, the decision was made from the top, without consulting the managers. The reason why those specific people were chosen was never explained. Flo does not follow its own values, so I’d advise being cautious if you consider working there.

Nice office and hybrid work - general flexibility. Good opportunity to learn new things from few good people. Good comp and decent benefits

Truly unpleasant culture - unprofessional and rude behaviour masked as "cultural differences" Loyal people who have been there for years may just disappear out of nowhere. Growth at all costs and no real consideration or care about women's health.

Fast-paced environment may not suit everyone. High standards mean high expectations.

- some higher level managers & executives are extremely micromanagey - very very lean team. as in one person does more work than a single person should

You need to be very adaptable to change & fast paced work. Not necessarily a con but can be for some people.

- Teams tend to be on a more junior side - they are hungry to learn and deliver impact, but for many of the execs this is their first gig, they grew up in this company (or one of its sister companies) and they lack maturity
