Pros
Good morals of the company, good benefits, a lot of travel opportunities
Cons
The pay is minimum wage
Pros
The people are pretty nice, I enjoy working with my coworker Flights benefits, hotels benefits and rental car benefits
Cons
They don't pay well, The payment is very very low. You have to work at least 10hurs a day to have make some money. And when you work overtime, they take a lot on taxes. They don't promote Customer Services to Headquarters jobs even if you're qualified.
Pros
Work and life balance, family friendly community
Cons
Very Limited travel benefits for employees
Pros
Good flight benefits, great work culture.
Cons
Health and 401k are alright.
Pros
Friendly coworkerw and flexible schedule. Good benefits.
Cons
Hard to pick up extra flights
Pros
Good benefits. Leadership has improved, and is dedicated to making meaningful change. The company is focused on employee experience and is trying to make changes. Out of 3 years of working at JSX, the company is headed in the right direction!
Cons
Not enough actual holidays and there can be a lot of priorities all at once.
Pros
Good management and excellent training. PTO, Benefits, and travel perks
Cons
Low pay fork workload balance.
Pros
Travel benefits for JSX kick in at 3 months, everyone else (except American because the CEO is petty) at 3 months. Flying on JSX is fun but our locations are super limited. Basically nothing in the Midwest and east coast only has flights between white plains and Florida. Sense of trauma bonding amongst employees, we all suffer together and become real friends. Dallas office is cool in theory as it is a hangar but in actuality is overcrowded and there are barely any places with privacy.
Cons
1: awful pay. You’ll hear it from everyone. They’re lucky to get away with it because people are obsessed with aviation. 2: to add insult to injury, the healthcare benefits are HORRENDOUS and so expensive. Only HDHP plans available. You pay the premium every paycheck and then are hit with thousand dollar plus bills after receiving routine service. 3: very much operates like a startup even though the company has been around for 9 years. So many antiquated processes and the mentality of “we’ve always done it that way, so…” 4: leadership (below c-suite) cannot make up their minds. We basically throw spaghetti against the wall and see what sticks. It’s exhausting to try and keep up and constantly pivot. 5: it takes forever to implement real change. Too many hoops to jump through and if the leader isn’t 10000% onboard, it’s intentionally delayed. 6: inconsistent WFH expectations based on favoritism. Office amenities are limited to premium snacks and overpriced food trucks. 7: small PTO allotment and antiquated accrual process to take it
Pros
the benefits are great at jsx. Health care and the free flights can't beat it.
Cons
the messiest company I have ever worked for. They will do everything in their power to push out the good people. HR is terrible and will not help you if you report someone for an offense. They hire based off friendship not skills. This explains why two people are directors of the company but have absolutely no airline experience. The company is also broke. They use outdated planes which no longer have parts manufactured. Meaning eventually this company is going to go down sooner or later. Only thing that can save them is the money they don't have. Out of papertowels and water for weeks
Pros
I love the small company feel. There’s a ton of room for growth in the company. They’re aggressively expanding, creating new positions all over if you’re willing to relocate. The non-rev benefits are great. The people who work here truly want to be here, so it makes everyday feel a lot less like work and more like spending time with like minded people. I truly have loved my time here and cannot recommend this company enough.
Cons
Being a newer company, there are still some growing pains. However there has recently been a change in the senior leadership teams. I believe these changes will help identify critical gaps in the company’s infrastructure. There has been a huge focus on improvements to the overall business model and empowering the staff to make changes that are beneficial for them.
