      Cons

      Some team members are more challenging than others. Lack of support to progression. No bonus unless you are very high up and 30£ xmas vouchers for all the hard work

At Kier, we are a real living wage employer, and along with this, we offer a range of employee benefits which support our people financially too, including our Smart Spending app, which offers savings & discounts at a range of retailers.       I had successfully done an apprenticeship programme allowing me to pursuit the career in finance. All this happened at the time I was divorcing and I felt supported every step of the way

      Exclusive to few bonus structure so unless you are in sales or top management, unlikely you will benefit from it

      Pros

      Work from home so you can take additional jobs. Never required to visit the office.

      Cons

      Remote makes it very detached from the management. No support, no drive and no guidance when needed. Poor pay, poor bonuses, generally bad management. No career progression. No ambition and outlook. Its amazing this company makes any money when everyone is on the fiddle.

      The bonus structure is geared towards minimising the bonus to staff. The IT is old and outdated.
