Pros
They had great food, nice facilities, good benefits
Cons
This is not a Kite only problem, it's largely a corporate America problem. Too many teams chase solutions to problems that don't exists or don't move the needles in order to justify their job's existence. At Kite things largely went downhill after the acquisition when too much Gilead cash started flowing in, while top leadership was taking jobs elsewhere and whoever was left or appointed had to justify their existence so started running around often doing work that had no real benefit to the company.
