Pros
Reading Former or Current LANL employee reviews, you will come across the following (below), and it a completely deceptive response. LANL is indeed toxic, particularly the HR group. They are not your friends. They are not looking out for you. They focus on plausible deniability. HR, Upper management will avoid giving you any thing in writing. They will call you to give you the result of an investigation they never intended to perform. FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD. "We are sorry to hear about your experiences. Los Alamos National Laboratory strictly prohibits acts of sexism, racism, or ageism, and the behaviors you described below do not align with our core values. If you haven’t done so already, we strongly encourage you to reach out to your management, HR Generalist, and/or Employee Relations to have your concerns investigated and addressed. Individuals who raise such concerns are protected from retaliation. Additionally, the Laboratory is constantly looking at ways to create more competitive and inclusive benefits. As you noted, we provide maternity and parental leaves, but if you have any additional ideas related to how we might improve our overall benefits package please feel free to reach out to the Benefits Office directly."
