Does NIH offer bonus pay?

Diversity, no pressure for the grant, lots of scientific opportunities, fair amount of benefits

No bonus, relatively under paid, slow process, hard to get a higher position

This place is just a good spot to spend a year or so for training even though there was no supervision literally over the time I was there.

I worked at NIH for 4 years as a contractor. The government employees were not working efficiently, and they were mostly doing nothing. The leadership team and the contractors were doing most of the work but the government employees were getting the benefits and bonuses.
