Pros
Flexible working environment with good benefits and good colleagues.
Cons
A total mismatch between lofty ideals and external messaging of so called “do gooders” and “wealthy” senior management with the practical internal reality of OSF, which are based on inequality and exploitation of lower level staff. There are extreme gaps in pay , some, making above 3 digits (hidden bonuses) and many two digits. no accountability and transparency and consideration for qualifications. There is also no respect for diversity equity or inclusion, the values OSF preaches to others. The creation of the union at OSF arose from these issues. The highest levels of leadership appear to exhibit extreme discomfort to the very people they claim to represent., in many ways, refusing to interact with us . This exemplifies this particular brand of toxic liberal elitism - whereby OSF leadership has truly very little connection with the working class yet likes to preach to others. How about these so-called values? in the meantime, senior leadership are paid fat hidden salaries and bonuses, and plan to get rid of the union at some point so that they can continue with hiring consultants and not providing any benefits (i.e. sweatshop). The organization should ideally change its name as it no longer is what it was. A true disappointment.
