The IT department has experienced significant turnover recently, largely due to management practices. Employees are often expected to work after hours, even when they are not on call. The infrastructure team is currently under new leadership, which has created a more stressful environment.
That said, the IT team itself is great to work with—it’s primarily the management side that presents challenges. While some former colleagues have mentioned feeling belittled by management, I haven’t personally experienced that. There is definitely room for improvement in leadership. Additionally, employees who submit a two-week notice may be asked to leave immediately.
