Proud to Work for a Trusted Brand Being part of such a well-known and respected UK organisation gives me a real sense of pride in what I do. Clear Career Development There are great opportunities to progress. We’ve implemented a huge range of progression pathways over the last few years and even embraced entry level roles for our Road Patrols to help bring more people into the automotive industry. Recognition Our annual AA awards are a prestigious event, not only do we crown our Patrols of the year but celebrate many categories of awards where people and teams have embraced our values and really gone over and above. Supportive Team Culture I’ve always found the environment friendly and collaborative. Managers and colleagues are approachable and helpful. Great Benefits Perks like free breakdown cover after a year and a decent pension scheme are a real bonus, There is a huge range of other benefits offer from Car Salary sacrifice schemes, medical and dental cover to name a few. Strong Training Programmes We are DCPC and IMI accredited Training Centres offering industry leading programmes and a comprehensive induction giving Patrols the best possible start to their career.

      Cons

It's not a 9-5 job. The work ethos and shifts available mean that you can really tailor how you want to tailor your work/life balance.

I’ve only been with the AA for two months, but my experience has been overwhelmingly positive. The onboarding process was smooth and welcoming, and I immediately felt like part of the team. The company has a fantastic culture where employees are valued and supported. The management team is approachable, transparent, and genuinely interested in helping employees succeed. The work-life balance is excellent, and the company offers a generous benefits package. There’s a real emphasis on professional development, and even in my short time here, I’ve already had access to training opportunities that have helped me grow in my role. The team is collaborative, and I’m constantly learning from my colleagues, which has made my transition into the company much easier.

      Pros

I joined as part time call handler in a busy contact centre during Covid and have progressed to Team Leader. There are other opportunities for progression across the whole diverse business for those that want them, The advantage of a large organisation such at this are not only the benefits but the support structures that are in place. Monthly 121s and 2 development reviews a year ensure that objectives and success are reviewed and guidance added where needed. The new building has now been operational for nearly a year and is a great modern space in which to work

      Cons

Parking is free but need to park a few buildings away

The company culture and values are amazing, The training and progression opportunities are fantastic and they offer excellent benefits. They are very focused on employee wellbeing and have so many resources and facilities available to support staff. They even have chill out / gaming areas with ping pong and pool tables! The Management in my department have been so welcoming and supportive, regularly checking in to see how I'm doing and have been so efficient if I've needed anything sorting. Definitely know I've made the right move and am very happy working here
