      Business Outlook

      Pros

      - Unlimited PTO & fully remote - Big name clients that can help you learn new skills/add to your resume - Recharge weeks - Most people are great to work with and super friendly

      Cons

      - Unrealistic workloads: As a Senior Manager, I was responsible for managing 10 clients in addition to a team of 10 people. I consistently shared with my leadership team how burnt out I was and that I needed help, and I was consistently told this is the new structure and that there are staffing constraints so no changes can be made - Public awards are simply for PR, employees rarely hear about these - Product team demos new products to clients without informing or training employees first, and then we are left to scramble when clients have questions - Horrible health insurance - Exec team that is out of touch and performs layoffs every quarter, but has hired about 3 new execs this year with a salary of $350k+ - Upset clients that threaten to leave due to severe staffing issues and turnover, while middle management has very little to no support from senior leadership

Execs do not listen to feedback

      Pros

You're able to work from home but expect 10 hour days

      Cons

The exec team has shown time and time again that they do not listen to feedback. We switched to a terrible health insurance provider last year and after more than half the company complained about it, nothing has been done. They also laid off a lot of workers, cut huge portions off our commissions, and are pushing out a lot of the people who made Tinuiti great 10+ years ago

      Cons

Where to begin. Like many, I loved Tinuiti at first. I thought I had found an agency that was finally different and really cared about their people. But the people-centric way of thinking was thrown out the window when times got tough financially, and since then the C-suite leadership has literally said they are moving to a client-centric way of thinking. From the 3 layoffs over the course of a roughly 8 month period, to the removal of bonuses/yearly merit increases, to the lack of thought-provoking leadership, to the overallocating of work (Tinuiti's allocation method of determining client profitability and employee workload is wholeheartedly a joke) with no career growth incentive, I lost hope and luckily eventually found another job where I am now very happy and supported. Tinuiti's current way of working is, well, not working. It hasn't been working. When I left, it looked like they were attempting another restructure coming in 2024 to help, but at this point, I have so little faith in leadership that I wouldn't hold your breath if you are considering working here.

They have layoffs EVERY three months due to restructure. They restructure ever 3 months which is crazy. Don’t get too comfortable if you do work here. Because you never know when you’re next.

A company that means well, but lacks serious direction

      Anonymous
      Current employee
      San Diego, CA
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Tinuiti genuinely presents a culture of openness, and diversity. I've never seen a company go so above and beyond to be mindful of current events and how they affect the mental health of their employees. The work life balance is incredible, and the benefits are generally pretty nice.

      Cons

Tinuiti just seems to have a constant cloud of doom and dread hanging over it. When I joined the company three years ago, they proudly declared that they had never had any layoffs. That is very much not the case any more. Every effort to restructure and reorganize leaves people on edge that their position is about to be outsourced to a cheaper consultant. There is virtually no upward mobility, and ludicrous turn over. At the same time, it seems like they are constantly struggling to find people to fill account roles. People are at their limit, and don't really receive any reward for going above and beyond. It seems like the only way to get a promotion seems to be having the person above you leave the company, and then you'll be shoehorned into their role because they're desperate not to hire anyone else.

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Used to pay well. Very smart coworkers. Fully Remote.

      Cons

Recent layoffs. The company is making drastic changes to squeeze more profitability out of the employees. Commission was cut from a 15% model to one based on a 3% model that is based on the performance of an entire team spanning multiple departments. Pay is being cut by tens of thousands for most employees. People managers are having to manage accounts again. Base pay raises not matching inflation & no bonuses. It is quite frightening to see how fast this company has changed recently. I would avoid working here if possible. They have restructured the company in a way that makes moving up nearly impossible. These large changes are taking place in ~Q2 2024. This is a very different place than what the old reviews will reference.
