Pros
I recently joined Verkada and I must say, it has been an incredible experience so far. The best thing about this company is the people. I have never worked with such smart and talented colleagues before. Everyone is dedicated, hardworking and always willing to help out. The work environment is fast-paced and challenging, which keeps me motivated and engaged. I enjoy the fact that there's always something new to learn, and the company encourages its employees to pursue their interests and grow their skills. What's more, the people at Verkada are incredibly reachable. Everyone is approachable and willing to answer your questions questions. Overall, I would highly recommend Verkada to anyone looking for a challenging and rewarding career. The company culture is great, the people are amazing, and the opportunities for growth and development are endless. I am excited to be a part of this team and look forward to the future with Verkada.

Pros
Strong, supportive leadership The company does a lot to take care of their employees (benefits) Collaboration across the org Inclusive, work hard play hard culture. The office is SO supportive of each others wins and losses. The office has a lot of diversity due to all of the transplants.
Cons
The job is hard, but it is so rewarding. Being in office after being remote for a couple of years scared me at first. After working at Verkada, I don't think I will ever go back to being fully remote.

Pros
- Great Benefits and Office Culture: The perks and relaxed but exciting office culture make it a great place to work day to day. The Office-First culture is more than compensated for by the large budgets for lunch, socials and well stocked kitchens. - Fast Pace, Rapid Growth and Interesting Challenges: The AAE program in the UK has really found it's feet and for all of its challenges, the exposure to full-cycle tech sales at such a junior stage in a sales career makes it more than worth it. The opportunities for growth and development far outpace a traditional SDR to AE route. - Industry Leading Product and huge TAM: It really is an industry leading product that beyond impresses prospects who agree to see it in action. As the central value point is building security, it can be sold to almost any business and is continuing to snap up the market share of legacy competitors. - Team and Community Spirit: The individual teams in the London Office and the SMT as a whole make an active effort to involve everyone and integrate them into their team.
Cons
- 5 days a week in the office obviously doesn't work for everyone, but for someone at the start of their career, the exposure to colleagues who have already climbed the ladder is worth it. - When the office first opened there was a prevailing doctrine that a US style approach to sales could be dropped straight into Old Street. Over the last year however, the UK office has taken great strides in localising the sales approach and culture.
Advice to Management
Carry on localising the sales approach and giving regional teams greater autonomy over their strategy. Get the juniors involved in their teams from day 1 to help them be seen as an integral part of the day to day operations of the office as opposed to an addition.
