however product/industry/space are generally uninspiring and interesting work is not happening here. Security is a space with not much innovation, and way too many dudes.

Pressure to work really hard, goals that are not attainable with no real strategy, no accountability from leadership. Chief Marketing Officer has no clue what he is doing, and individual contributors below him pay the price. People work really hard, not smart, and the tone is all set from leadership. Lowest performing ICs get fired while managers are not held accountable for team performance. People don't take as much PTO as they should. Someone on the marketing team got fired for his treatment of women, and the CMO helped him get his next job. No established culture of feedback, especially from ICs to managers. Very sales-forward culture with tons of vaping in the office. I've never left a job so quickly.

Verkada has given me opportunity for mentorship, growth as a rep, success in sales, and growth in my career. I'm well aware that past reps have posted negative reviews here, but that has not been my experience. I love the office culture, the leadership I've worked with, and I've seen a lot of success as a rep. I have promoted more than once, and I have a clear path to management. I feel supported here, and I'm given the tools I need to excel. This is by far the best company I have worked for.

While the base salary may be a bit lower than other tech companies in Utah, the product sells itself, the quotas are attainable, and the company is growing quickly. It's a great time to join.
