What are perks and other benefits like at Visier?

      Pros

Immediate team is nice People working with you seem to be caring and friendly

      Cons

At Visier there is a culture of constant change, which exhausts a lot of us. We tend to always chase the next best thing that shows up somewhere in the market without reflecting on past successes and failures, strengths and weaknesses. With failures being swept under the rug and never talked about. Even though there is a solid foundation, the product is only ok. My take on why is because it is largely developed by non-SMEs. There are plenty of practitioners who tend to be hired for their past experience of using Visier but they tend to be doing a job that they didn't apply for. The benefits are quite basic and compensation is not great, under the market. No career development or growth, and performance ratings are a constant moving target. Even with additional responsibilities assigned. Going above and beyond - gets you nowhere, just a new expectation of you doing this expanded job becoming a norm. Employee listening surveys are just for ticking the box, no results being read out or relevant goals being set. So just to echo a few other reviewers - teaching others how to be data driven without actually being data driven ourselves (sales data doesn't count as this is the only thing we constantly hear). Not quite sure how the leadership team is held accountable

      Pros

It used to have decent benefits, but not anymore.

      Cons

Oh boy, where do I start? The compensation was terrible. Benefits used to be decent; however, they now ask employees to share the cost and claim to provide flexibility to the employees so we can allocate HSA and PSA. What a gracious gesture! I should cherish the flexibility on my knees and preach the generosity! The product was not flexible. Yes, it's a powerful tool, but only if you know how to use it. Good luck with that. Management is toxic. Constant office politics and infighting within the management boards. The CEO thinks he knows everything. If you are not doing his way, you are wrong. The people who actually do the work usually become the scapegoat. They preach that meeting the bar is good because Visier has a high bar. And yet, when it comes to rewards season, you won't be getting a 100% bonus for meeting your bar, that's for sure. They asked people to come to the office three times a week, but when asked about what's the consequence of not coming to the office, they changed their mind and said, oh, it's just a principle; we don't want to set a rule. No wonder the 2nd floor is empty all the time. Favouritism runs all over the organization. You can do no wrong if you are a Management Board Member's favourite. You will get rewarded constantly by simply doing your job. You don't even need to be good at it. If you are unfortunately on their bad side for whatever reason, all I can say is good luck. There is no way to crawl out of the hole. They will find every opportunity to blame and belittle you, even if that's not your fault. You can have another person say the exact same thing to the management board member, and they will agree to the other person and say your delivery is confusing, even if it's the exact same word.

      Pros

One of the best parts of working here is the team — collaborative, approachable, and always willing to help. It creates a genuinely supportive work environment that makes even tough days manageable. The benefits are also a strong point — comprehensive health coverage, and other perks that really show the company values employee well-being. What really stands out to me is the focus on career progression. There are clear pathways to grow, and leadership encourages internal movement and development. I've been able to expand my technical and soft skills thanks to a variety of learning opportunities — from workshops and to on-the-job training.

      Pros

Still in my first year here, but I have found the people (including executives) at this company to be helpful, supportive, approachable, and intelligent. The culture is positive and genuine, and I feel valued. I'm not just employee # xyz. I've spent over a decade at two of the largest ERP/HR Tech companies in the U.S., and the tech stack and sales support at Visier have matched or exceeded what I've used at those companies. The product is already mature and is a clear leader in the PA category while still growing by leaps and bounds due to sound financial management and ability to re-invest. After seeing the demand for this product, I do think we are poised for significant growth over the next 10 years.

      Cons

I read some of the negative reviews and the comments, and they really don't represent what I have personally observed or experienced so far. I've had a really good experience. I do know over the past year Visier installed new sales leadership (the new leadership is part of the reason I joined), but there's probably some lingering fallout from that. And the company is small enough to where there's nowhere to hide, so if you're not engaged in your career it will probably show fairly quickly. The company could be more competitive in the benefits packages that are offered to U.S. employees who don't have access to national healthcare. The benefits are good, but not on par with "big box" tech companies (although this is not a "big box" company so that's worth considering). Final thought on the "Cons" section - the PA category is emerging as a "need to have" but it's not fully there yet. You really have to work with prospects as a true partner, so despite nearly every business wanting what we provide it's not a layup sale.

      Cons

Dictatorial management structure, self-preservation culture (toxic at times), HR department AWOL, constant cost cutting and changes to messaging stifling creativity, micromanagement prevalent. Salaries and benefits (including annual leave) also much lower than other companies in SaaS (aforementioned cost focus).
