The work I do is rewarding and in many cases I know it makes it to very important people within my space.
The leadership, especially in HR, is wonderful. They are kind and approachable. They promote a great culture from the top down.
They afford great flexibility when it comes to work life balance. I often times need to adjust my schedule to fit my families needs and never once have I felt like I was not given the grace and support I would expect.
Cons
Hard for me to come up with any to be honest. I am very happy with how things have turned out. I have seen better 401K matches in other industries but all things considered XPO offers good benefits for a company in a low margin industry. They even have a Dependent Care Account!
Lack of training and development, as a external candidate you would expect some attention to your development, but it seems like you just have to "figure it out"
Decent pay, good potential for yearly raise and or bonus, benefits are decent.
Cons
Must be flexible to work different shifts/hours (sometimes on short notice), ALOT of variables that truly affect your day/night causing longer hours and more stress, support from upper leadership lacking as they only care about the numbers not the employees, drivers dictate everything and company allows it to happen.
Pay was just okay, got moved to a failing account and felt like there was no opportunity of advancement. Alot of stressed out coworkers who also were not receiving any advancement after many years.
