      Pay is decent but you will spend it all on therapy

      Cons

      They will ask you the same questions over and over and over again. Everything is on IC, management doesn’t help anything besides ask you the same thing over and over again. No guidance, no career advancement path, no culture, no diversity, no help, lots layoff, everything is your fault and they will deduct your bonus. It’s very rare if other team will help you. It’s not worth the mental health damage. Exe will yell at you on call - like verbally abuse kind of yell.

      -Great product - the product is really innovative! It's cool to hear about all of the new product developments at town halls. Overall, no matter your role, you feel like you play an active part in creating improvements in the connectivity and productivity of supply chains around the world. -Career growth - p44 moves quick and continues to grow, so there's a lot of opportunity for you to make an impact and grow your own career. -Collaborative team members - everyone is genuinely invested in collaborating and succeeding as a company. I've felt that team members are always willing to roll up their sleeves and help each other out. -Office vibes & events - the p44 office is AMAZING! It's super easy to get to Merch Mart. Strong snack game. There are many fun events throughout the month to get to meet co-workers outside of day-to-day collaboration.

      Cons

      The only watch out is that p44 is a fast-paced start-up environment, which may not be for everyone.

      Rocket ship headed in the wrong direction

      Wide range of customers utilizing the platform providing diverse industry exposure

      Constructive criticism lacking in all directions. Constructive feedback from ICs is ignored while constructive feedback from management is non-existent in most, if not all, departments. There is regular unwarranted, improperly targeted, negative commentary from leaders that contributes to low morale and lacks in forward thinking approaches. Unclear vision. Externally, the tech and logistics markets are both very dynamic, but the company continues to prioritize unplanned frivolous changes where internal parties see fit while making necessary changes retroactively with minimal effort resulting in prolonged and unsatisfactory resolution times as well as erroneous results. Internally, there are no paths in place for career advancement making career growth near impossible unless you want to be involved in the game of office politics. Also the internal processes for issue escalation changes so frequently that people frequently have to contact 5+ people prior to getting an answer to even the simplest of requests. No clear ownership. Requests regularly fall on deaf ears as all departments work in silos and prefer to point fingers as opposed to own and fulfill obligations. Staffing. Multiple layoffs have been experienced in the past 2 years which all resulted in highly talented individuals being let go, projects being cancelled in totality, and low morale cross company. Work/Life Balance. Unlimited PTO is closely monitored and can become a punishment as opposed to reward as it results in piled up work upon return as the company does not reward teammate collaboration Product. The release of Movement was very exciting prior to launch, but bugs and product gaps quickly surfaced and were not actioned on in a timely fashion and over a year later still doesn’t address multiple rudimentary client needs.

      -Intelligent, motivated employees across the organization: sales, solutions engineering, marketing, and more - Most team members are highly collaborative and trying to do the right thing - Individual contributors and middle-management are motivated, hard-working, and focused on getting the job done. - Lots of opportunity to grow in your career. project44 is the type of place where if you have a good idea, you are encouraged to try it. - Strong camaraderie within teams - I have high level of trust and confidence in my department peers and direct reports - Incredible mission/vision that team members can be proud of

      Cons

      - The vision of the company is so large and vast it can be difficult to see progress being made. - Everything is a fire drill, especially when executives are involved, making it really difficult to stick to plans and priorities. It can sometimes feel like you are always behind/can't get ahead. - There is an increased "political" element when dealing with executives - Good trajectory over the past 12 months, but there were a couple rounds of layoffs in the year prior to that. It was the right thing for the business, but that means smaller teams and fewer resources. The exec team sometimes forgets that.

      We have never received criteria on what it takes to get a promotion. There is no opportunity for career growth.

      The pay is good and office has a lot of activities to distract you.

      - Mandatory 5-day work-from-office policy despite globally distributed teams - Weak people management; lack of structured manager training - Limited or ineffective channels for upward feedback - Perceived bias in how India teams are treated vs. global counterparts especially US ones. They treat Indian team as inferiors. - HR seen as management-aligned rather than employee-focused and will not listen to employee at all and will never work towards employee well-being. - Slow or unresponsive handling of employee concerns by HR team both in India and US ones also. - Lack of transparency in promotions and career growth - Minimal focus on employee development and only repeating AI, AI, AI.

      The biggest challenge is a growing disconnect between leadership and employees. Employee feedback mechanisms feel largely ineffective, and many employees feel their concerns are filtered through management rather than being heard directly. If you are not in a leadership position, it can be difficult to have your perspective acknowledged or acted upon. HR functions more as an administrative extension of management rather than an independent employee advocate. Policies, processes, and people practices often lack transparency and consistency. There is limited clarity around competency frameworks, career progression, performance expectations, and development pathways. There is also a perception among employees that decision-making is concentrated among a small group of leaders, with insufficient consideration of local teams and regional perspectives. Communication between global leadership and employees often feels one-directional. Many internal systems and processes remain fragmented. Employees regularly encounter inefficiencies across finance, HR, operational workflows, and internal tools. Rather than creating scalable and sustainable processes, there is often a tendency to address symptoms instead of root causes. The Total Rewards function requires significant improvement. Compensation communication lacks transparency, and employees frequently struggle to understand the full value of their rewards package. Equity administration and reporting have created confusion, reducing employee confidence in the accuracy of compensation information. Employee trust has also been impacted by inconsistent people practices, limited accountability, and a perception that manager feedback carries substantially more weight than employee feedback.

      I have been working at project44 for several years now and I am constantly impressed by the spirit of collaboration and teamwork that permeates the culture. One of the things I appreciate most about project44 is the freedom to explore new ideas and take risks. Leaders are always open to new ideas and encourage us to think outside the box, which has contributed positively to my development. project44 also rewards hard work and innovation.
