      Analyst Interview

      Mar 19, 2018
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Fremont, CA
      Declined offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ASUS (Fremont, CA) in Mar 2018

      Interview

Fast recruitment process, 2 weeks in total. ( Applied-phone screen-on site-offer) Initial phone screening with HR. The HR is very professional that you can tell he read through your resume beforehand, and he knows about the job you're applying to because he can answer most of your questions regarding the position. On site interview took about 50 mins, the hiring manager asked a lot of details regarding my past experience, very professional and nice too. Have to hand-write the application again while onsite for the interview, did not think it is necessary as the application has already been done online and it was the exact same form.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at ASUS (Fremont, CA) in Apr 2017

      Interview

Recruiter did not seem interested during the interview and had a very nonchalant approach to asking questions. He started out by letting me know we would go over my resume, but then ended up only asking one brief thing about it. He seemed very rushed

      Anonymous employee

      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ASUS (Fremont, CA)

      Interview

Unless you have a reference at the company, you will be screened by HR first, so make sure your resume is clean and appropriate for the position. If you get an interview, you will meet with your manager and perhaps one or two more people. Work life here is 95% related to your manager, so if you feel like your personalities don't match, then consider applying elsewhere. Culture is largely dependent on your ability to be organized and have communication with others, so make sure those are highlighted discussion points.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

For a more technical position they ask you questions about troubleshooting and general product knowledge. For my position is was pretty basic questions. 'What do you want to do here long-term, etc'
