Able Moving and Storage interview questions

The interview was pretty standard and laid back. Mostly common questions. After i stated that I was very interested in the position because I knew the rapid growth the company was having and how I wanted to grow within, I was told that the job was not looking for a hard working employee. They wanted someone who was able to be alone for 8-10 hours and and never want to move up within the company. This was not a great thing to hear, but I interviewed as if I never heard that because I figured hard work would shine through and there would be no way to not be promoted. The 2 interviewers said that had some other canidates, but I would here back from them "no matter what". After 10 days, I sent an email to the hiring manager that interviewed me asking if there would be an update and if they needed anything else from me, but got no response. Another 2 weeks went by and I decided to call and speak to him about the job. He said he had just met with whomever was in charge of hiring and he would get back to me by the end of the day. I never heard back and I've sent 2 more emails with no response.

The interview process took about a week and a half. I applied through a recruiter online. After the phone screening with the recruiter, I had to take a predictive index assessment prior to the interview. I took the assessment and within a few days, I was contacted to set up an interview. I interviewed with the Payroll, HR & Employee Benefits Manager and the Customer Service Manager. Within a week, I was contacted for a final phone interview with my immediate supervisor. Overall, I was satisfied with the interview process. Everyone was friendly and communicative throughout.
