Red flag after red flag. First, they scheduled it 4:30PM-5:30PM. Thought it was ridiculous to schedule an interview past 5PM. This was a panel interview with a PM and 2 data scientist type employees. Started off normal and the PM was very nice and promoted the company. Then they said that they will mute and turn off their camera and do other work while the interview goes on. Guess I am not worth a whole hour. The other 2 asked more technical questions. Many of those question lacked direction, like "Tell me about your technical experience". They also had no reaction to any of my answers and lacked personality. Once was leaning back on their chair in a tee shirt. Then with 15 minutes left, thinking they will give me time to ask questions, they started a 30 min coding challenge. Not only was it 5:30 PM and I was already exhausted from working 10 hours, but was not told this was going to happen. It was extensive, and took them 10 mins to even explain it. I struggled with it at first, but with only minutes left in the interview, I explained my thought process, and informed them I had a commitment right after the interview was SUPPOSSED to end. Many red flags and a waste of time.
