I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Acorns (Irvine, CA)
Interview
Interview was simple. Team and department leads just want to get to know you, and test you a bit on product knowledge. Role playing section at the end - team lead acts as a disgruntled customer and you handle the situation as best you can.
I was told that I would be moving forward in the process, later informed I was not selected for the position.

Interview
Applied online. Recruiter reached out a few days later for a phone interview to get to know me. Had an in person interview the next week and then a phone interview with the CEO the next day. Basic interview questions for all 3 interviews and there was a role play on the 2nd interview. The recruiter really prepares you for the following interviews and everyone on the team is super friendly!

Question 1
Why do you want to work for Acorns? Explain a time where you had an upset customer and how you handled it.

Interview
I applied online and received an e-mail a couple of days later to set up a 30 min phone call. The recruiter was very friendly and informed me about the role and getting to know my background. The next step was an on-site interview a couple of days later. I was told to arrive 15 min early for a tour. I met two office managers when I checked in, they were both very welcoming and talked with me while I waited.
A recruiter came about 5 min before the set interview time and showed me a quick tour. I was informed that there was another floor, which was where the support reps and some other departments were... I was disappointed to not have been shown that space since that applied more to the position, but the process seemed a bit rushed so that could make it for the set interview time.
I then met with the manager and a lead, where we went over my background, getting to know more about the position and a role-play scenario. It was nice getting to know them both and learn about their backgrounds and position. At the end, I was told I would hear back by the end of the week or early the next week and that the next step would be a call with the CEO.
Unfortunately, I did not move onto the next step but I appreciated the fact that she called me to let me know. Overall the experience was very positive, the recruiter was very responsive and updated me throughout the interview process.
