Actify interview questions

I've got to the coding part of the interview. The first part was the basic HR interview to check the level of your English. After this, I've got to the coding part. The assignment was very basic, get JSON from open source web, parse and show the results. I didn't get the job because of simple and not advanced code. Really baffled in a lot of these interviews when you get a basic assignment and it is expected that you make a rocket science code.
