I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Acturis (London, England) in Sep 2014
Interview
Was contacted by recruiter, applied with CV and brief summary of why I wanted the job. Got offered a job interview the very next day.
First was 3 tests in 30 minutes- maths, data sufficiency and reading comprehension (which was HARD)- I only got 19/23 on this, read somewhere that 21/23 was pass mark.
The next bit involved problem-solving, using the Message Standard, and a proposed dataset. You had to find errors in the dataset, and then write some queries in an XML-style language.
The final bit was similar, it involved looking at a proposed list of questions for an employment survey, and finding problems (irrelevant questions, overlapping choices, too broad/ too specific choices).
Overall, enjoyed the afternoon, but think I failed it on the reading comprehension.
Two stages, both general interview questions with a technical portion going through a case study. The first stage included 3 maths/logic based questions. Both interviewers were professional and I felt relaxed going through the case study with them.
Two interviews, each consisting of some general CV review and 'why this company, why this role' etc, some GMAT questions that you will have already done in the online test and a case study in either SQL, XML or neither. Depending on the interviewer they will talk you through the case study sometimes giving you the answer, or they will not help you as much and watch your process. Having two interviews means that the chances are in your favour of getting a good interviewer.
A 2 hour video interview with a senior employee was conducted. The interview was long and included multiple tasks to do with simple mathematical questions and a case study involving XML code.
