The initial application includes a technical homework based off the position you applied. These questions were pretty small and starightforward, overall very reasonable technical screens. After the assignment and application is reviewed, you have 3 non-technical video chat interviews, the last one being with someone higher up in the company. The 3 interviews are mostly talking about experience, interests, and cultural fit.
The interviews themselves were pretty standard and enjoyable, but the entire process was very long for me. After my homework was initially graded and passed, I waited 3 weeks before hearing from a recruiter. The process was overall slow and less responsive than other recruiting processes I've gone through. Ad Hoc is growing so perhaps this is part of those growing pains.
